CHILD PROTECTION
At Rams, the safety of our athletes is our highest priority. We follow Little Athletics NSW guidelines when it comes to working with children.
We encourage our Committee Members and Age Managers to complete a Working with Children Check even though, under the legislation, a volunteer who has their own child or stepchild participating in the activity does not require one.
As part of Little Athletics NSW guidelines, we ask our members to avoid unaccompanied and unobserved activities with children, which includes ensuring that at least two adults are always in attendance when supervising athletes.
